Two directors of state -owned enterprises are suspected of demanding bribes from the supplier of components for the armed forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office on March 19.
According to the investigation, the suspects demanded money for concluding contracts for the supply of details and unimpeded them. In case of refusal to pay a certain amount, they threatened to create artificial obstacles that would make it impossible to execute contracts.
The size of the "rollback" depended on the type of parts and their number in the party. From July 2023 to February 2025, the attackers received almost UAH 2 million from a representative of the company that supplies accessories for military equipment.
Currently, both suspects have been chosen in custody in the form of bail. The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officers continue to gather evidence to hold the perpetrators responsible for committing crimes.
