Shakhtar Fonseca's Extin was removed for 9 months for referee aggression

The Portuguese Coach Paulo Fonseca, known for his work in Ukrainian Shakhtar, received a serious punishment for the incident that occurred during the match of the 24th round of the League 1 between his team and Brest. At the end of the game, Fonseca, without holding back emotions, began to shout at the arbitrator of Bastiene Mioo and almost attacked him, which caused great indignation in the football community.

The incident attracted the attention of the French Football Federation, which carefully considered the situation and made a serious punishment. Fonseca has been disqualified for 9 months, which actually means its removal from coaching to the end of the year.

For Paulo himself, this sentence was a heavy blow, as he will have to miss a large part of the season. However, the coach will be able to return to the performance of his duties only after the expiration of this period, which will probably affect his further career.

Fonseca's incident raises questions about the behavior of the trainers on the field and their attitude to the arbitrators. Given the severity of the violation, disqualification looks like a fair solution to support football discipline.
