Iran Masud President Posashian categorically abandoned US President Donald Trump's proposal to hold new nuclear talks. This was reported on March 11 by Mehr News Agency.
“It is unacceptable for us to give them (USA) orders and threaten. I will not even negotiate with you. Do anything, ”President Iran said.
The refusal of Pesshkian was made against the background of exacerbation of tensions between Iran and the United States through Tehran nuclear program. The US administration seeks to reach a new treaty that would strengthen the control of Iran's nuclear development and limit its military potential.
In addition, Peseschian expressed indignation of Trump's actions against Ukraine. He noted that the US president should feel shame for his actions against the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, hinting at the recent tense negotiations in the White House.
This refusal of Iran in negotiations undermines the Trump administration's efforts to resolve the nuclear issue and create additional difficulties in establishing a dialogue with Tehran.
