Israel has stopped Iran's nuclear program for a minimum of 2-3 years

Israeli Air Force on Iran significantly slowed Tehran nuclear program. On June 20, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Gidaeon Saar stated in an interview with the German edition of Bild .

According to Saar, the strikes were allowed to postpone the creation of nuclear weapons for at least two to three years. "We will not calm down until we do everything that our power is to eliminate this threat," the minister stressed.

He also clearly outlined the goals of the current operation: it is the nuclear and rocket programs of Iran, as well as elimination of the threats they carry. At the same time, Saar stressed that Israel does not aim to change the regime in Iran - at least at this stage.

When asked if the goals of Iran's supreme leader Ayatoll Ali Khameney, the minister replied, "We never say what we will do in advance."

Saar also expressed deep pessimism on the diplomatic settlement of the conflict. "All previous diplomatic efforts have failed," he said, in fact, questioning the possibility of achieving a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
