The warriors of the Tahal indicated that their action was directed against terrorists, not the civilian population of the city. It is stated that among the Israeli forces there are crews of physicians and specialists who speak Arabic. These specialists have undergone special training to ensure the safety of the civil population, which Hamas uses as a living shield.
Since terrorists are fighting in the territory of a medical institution, it threatens the status of hospital protected by international law. Yesterday, the Tsakhal reported that all hostilities in the hospital should be stopped within 12 hours, but this requirement was not fulfilled.
