Canada provides more than $2 million for the production of Ukrainian drones

At the Ramstein format, Canada Minister Bill Blair announced $ 2.1 million for the allocation of his country for the production of drones by the Ukrainian defense and industrial complex.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Strategic Industry of Ukraine.

Canada, along with the United Kingdom, joined Zbroyari's initiative: Manufacturing Freedom, the purpose of which is to raise $ 10 billion to produce Ukrainian weapons this year.

"The Ukrainians were relentless in their struggle for freedom, democracy and based on the rules of international order that exists for the safety of all of us. On the second anniversary of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, Canada confirms that it will support Ukraine as long as it was necessary to win," the National Defense Minister Bill Blair added.

Denmark was the first country to provide money for the purchase of Ukrainian weapons for the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Her government has allocated $ 28.5 million to it.

"The capacity of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex is almost $ 20 billion. Ukraine has only $ 6 billion for weapons purchasing. Roughly speaking, we only have a third of all the machines available in the country, because money is not enough to provide orders with the rest," the Minister of Strategic Industry explained.

Therefore, the decision is to convince partners ready to buy weapons for Ukraine, to order its Ukrainian manufacturers.
