The Ukrainian hammer Michael Kohan won the Gold Medal at the European Athletics Team Championships held in Madrid. During the competition, Kohan improved his own record by throwing a hammer at 81.66 meters.
This result exceeds its previous best achievement, which was 81.14 meters, by 0.52 meters. At the same time, the lover has been the best result of Ukraine in hammering over the last 20 years.
The second place was taken by the German athlete Merlin Gummel with a result of 81.27 meters, and the third became the Hungarian Benza Halas, who showed the result of 80.63 meters. The lag from the record holder was 103 centimeters.
The European Athletics Team Championship was held in Madrid, Spain.
