Media Holding "Vesta of Ukraine" has announced the termination of its activities, including the sale or transfer of media assets to any person or organization. The company's statement does not provide specific reasons for such a decision, but indicate the systematic prosecution of social forces and law enforcement agencies.
According to the report, the holding encountered searches, pressure, offices and broken equipment, as well as bans on broadcasting and license revocation. In addition, physical attacks such as gas poisoning and DDOS attacks on the company servers are also reported.
Media Holding "Vesti" was created in 2013 and at the peak of its development, from 2013 to 2015, included the free and most common newspaper in Ukraine "Vesti", a website with a similar name, a magazine "Vesti.
To date, only the Vesti and the UBR site remained in the holding of all these media assets. It is worth noting that the Holding "Vesti" was previously linked to the former minister of income and fees Alexander Klimenko.
