The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan and Harry, made a surprise visit to Canada on Monday night, attending a Vancouver Canucks hockey game. Prince Harry threw in the first puck before kick-off and then watched the action with Meghan from the box.
This visit to the ice marked 21 years after a similar event, when his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, also dropped the first puck at a game between the Vancouver Canucks and the San Jose Sharks. Meghan and Harry are in Canada ahead of the 2025 Invincible Games in Vancouver and Whistler.
Meghan was spotted in the stands wearing a black outfit and jewelry from Cartier. Her $15,200 gold diamond necklace and $6,300 yellow gold “Love” bracelet added charm to her look.
For the Sussexes, Canada is a special place, because it was here that they made their debut at the Invincible Games in 2017. Subsequently, while in Canada, they spent their first holiday season in 2019 and later moved to the US.
