The Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Krivonos made a proposal to reduce the mobilization age, indicating that the best warriors are men aged 18 to 25 years. According to him, these are young and motivated persons.
"We must really look at these things if we want to survive as a state. We will have to do it," the General said on YouTube channel "The Great Lviv". Krivonos believes that the mobilization age should be reduced immediately, because young people from 18 to 25 years have better physical training and great motivation.
"The average age of the military is now 38 to 50 years. But the ability to carry physical activity in 40 years is much lower than the 25-year-old. Because physiology is difficult to deceive. The best warriors are those who are young and motivated," he said. Krivonos emphasized the importance of learning and motivation, indicating that proper professional training can provide high results.
In response to the question of whether fighters can be 38 years old and older, the General emphasized that the main difference is not the age but in the level of study. The physiological features of young warriors, such as recovery and greater endurance, make them more effective on the battlefield.
It should be noted that the general's proposal calls on the optimal age for the call and its impact on the military readiness of the military .
