The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyaga confirmed the signing of the agreement between Israel and Hamas to cease fire and release of hostages. Negotiations have been held in the capital of Qatar - so far.
The statement stated that the Prime Minister convened a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Security, which should take place on Friday. It plans to vote on this agreement.
Netanyaga spokesman stated that the full government meeting is planned not earlier than Saturday in the evening. This is due to the need for a 24-hour period so that opponents of the agreement can file their petitions with the Supreme Court.
In addition, religious traditions are taken into account: many opponents of the arrangements are observed by Shabat - the period from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday.
