New restrictions on transfers between bank cards

From June 1, Ukrainian banks will introduce stricter limits on card transfers, which will allow persons without documentary confirmation of income to send or receive no more than 100,000 UAH per month.

This change is part of a constant effort to strengthen financial monitoring and prevent fraudulent actions.

Financial experts recommend that Ukrainians take active steps to avoid potential problems with banks. One of the key measures is to obtain official documents confirming income, such as tax returns, wage statements, retirement records, or other forms of income confirmation.

Providing such documents may increase the customer's confidence in the bank and may allow higher translation limits.

It is necessary to take care of the documentary confirmation of income in advance-in addition to the tax return, salaries, OK-5 and OK-7 certificates, banks must prepare confirmation of enrollment from state bodies, confirmed income of families, volunteer activity confirmation or other documents confirming the legality of the received income.

Another important recommendation is to optimize personal bank accounts. The presence of too many unused accounts can cause fears from financial institutions, so it is recommended to close inactive accounts and manage transactions due to a limited number of active ones.

In order to provide uninterrupted financial transactions in accordance with the new rules, people are also invited to set up automatic expenses such as utilities or digital subscriptions.

Using digital banking tools and official online platforms for financial transactions will help to avoid unnecessary complications.
