In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, the weather has set temperature records for the second day in a row, according to Boris Sreznevsky, the Central Geophysical Observatory.
According to the Observatory weather station, on October 31 in Kiev after noon, the air temperature reached +21.7 ° C, which was 1.2 ° C exceeded the previous record set in 1926. And on October 30, the daily maximum temperature in Kiev was +20.3 ° C, which is 2.4 ° C higher than the previous record, set in 1960.
Such high temperatures for the end of October are considered rare, and they attracted the attention of meteologists and residents of the city. The previous temperature record on October 31 in the capital was set almost a hundred years ago - 1926.
These abnormally high temperatures emphasize the unpredictability and variability of climate, and many are wondering the influence of global climatic changes on weather conditions in the region.
