In January, we are expected to launch a space mission, whose participants will represent Spain, Sweden, Italy and Turkey. According to the information published on the account of Mehmet Kadzhir, Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey on the social network X, it will be a historical event for Turkey, as their first astronaut, Alper Geseravji, will take part in the AX3 space mission with its European colleagues.
The duration of this mission will be 14 days, during which the Turkish astronaut together with employees will perform at least 13 scientific experiments. According to the space company Axiom Space, which is responsible for the organization of the mission, the launch will take place from the spacedrome in Florida no earlier than January 9, 2024.
