The suspect in the assassination attempt on Trump expressed support for Ukraine and called for the destruction of the Kremlin

Ryan Wesley Ruth, suspected of attempting to attempt Donald Trump, became the object of attention not only because of his probable participation in criminal acts, but also because of an active political position. According to CNN, Ruth has publicly expressed Ukraine's support after a full -scale invasion of Russia, which began in February 2022.

Ruth arrived in Ukraine after the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia more than two years ago, as evidenced by his videos and photos on Independence Square in Kiev.

The footage shows how he participated in a rally in support of the Ukrainian soldiers on May 1, 2022, and six weeks later returned to the same place where he was photographed near the Ukrainian flag, where he had a call for international volunteers to assist in military efforts.

Ruth also actively supported Ukraine on social networks. In his numerous publications on the X platform X in 2022, he declared his willingness to die in battle and expressed the opinion that "the Kremlin should be burned to the ground."

Ruth also called on foreigners on his social networks to join the war on the side of Ukraine. Since October 2023, he tried to involve the Afghan military in the fighting, presenting himself as unofficial communications of the Ukrainian government.

"Afghanistan - Ukraine is interested in 3000 soldiers to some extent, so I need every soldier who has a passport to send me a copy of his passport to send to Ukraine," he wrote in one of these posts.
