Poland and Ukraine are preparing to sign a security agreement

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorsky announced his intention to sign a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine in the coming days that according to the G7 declaration. He made a statement during a joint press conference with the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Britain.

Sikorsky stressed that the agreement will be similar in that Ukraine already has many other allies. He also noted that the United Kingdom and Poland have joint expectations from the future Alliance summit and expressed his hope that this would be an important signal for Putin.

"We will confirm that we are the most powerful alliance in history that the fate of Ukraine is in our life interests, and that the best thing Putin can do is to eliminate from the catastrophic, criminal mistake he made," Sikorsky emphasized.

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported that the likelihood of signing a bilateral agreement between Ukraine and Poland is high before NATO Summit in Washington, which will take place from July 9 to July 11.

According to recent surveys, 65% of Ukrainians support the idea of ​​security agreements with partners, but their hopes for their result retain careful optimism.
