In April 2025, 210 buses were registered in Ukraine, which is twice as much as in April last year. This growth indicates a significant increase in demand for buses, in particular for used equipment. This was reported by Ukravtoprom, noting that the market increased by 3%compared to March this year.
Compared to 2024, the share of new buses in the total amount of registration decreased: in April 2025 it was only 37%, while last year this figure was 60%. Nevertheless, new buses are also in demand, among them the leaders are Ford (19 units), Citroen (16 units) and Etalon (11 units).
However, the highest demand for used equipment remains the main segment of the market. Among the used buses in the first place are Mercedes-Benz (52 units), Setra (12 units) and Renault (11 units).
In total, since the beginning of 2025, the Ukrainian bus park has replenished 820 buses, which is 37% more than the same period last year. Of these, there were 368 units (+0.3%) and 452 units (+94%) used.
