By the end of 2024, the Ukrainian car market showed a noticeable slowdown. In November, more than 5.2 thousand new cars were sold, which is 10% less than in October, and 3% below the indicators of the same month of 2023.
However, not all brands have experienced a decrease in demand. Market leaders, including Toyota and Renault, continue to increase sales. Toyota remains a constant market leader. In November, 868 cars of this brand were sold, which is 28% more than in October, and 2% more than in the same period last year.
The second place belongs to Renault, which sold 533 cars. The striking increase of 39% compared to 2023 makes this brand the main competitor of Toyota.
The third step is Skoda, selling 514 cars. Although its sales have fallen by 1% compared to last year, Mark retains a stable position among top players in the market. They complete the top five Volkswagen leaders with 447 cars (-6%) and BMW with 305 units (+21%). Renault Duster remains the most popular model among Ukrainians. In November alone, 511 of these crossovers were implemented. This indicator strengthens the position of the model as a constant bestseller in the Ukrainian market.
By the way, the recent third generation of Renault Duster has added the model even more popular. The updated crossover has received modern design and technological improvements that attract new customers. In the 11 months of 2024, Ukrainians purchased 64,000 new cars, which is 17% more than in the same period of 2023. Such indicators indicate a total increase in interest in new cars, despite temporary fluctuations in demand.
Electric vehicles also actively conquer the market - in 2024 Ukrainians spent more than a billion dollars on them, demonstrating interest in more environmentally friendly transport.
