Russia prepares a new information and psychological special operation (IPSO) in order to undermine confidence in the Ukrainian command and intelligence. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This IPSO will be aimed at discrediting Ukrainian military intelligence. The occupiers plan to develop a number of articles and videos that will disclose information about the staff of the Main Intelligence Directorate working in coordination with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“For the implementation of this new large -scale campaign against Ukraine, the Russians have allocated $ 15 million. Agents of the Russian special services have already received instructions to organize paid production and distribution in the media space of Ukraine and Western states of relevant materials, ”the press service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence said.
The purpose of this information and psychological operation of Russians is to prevent the work of agencies that perform combat and special tasks against the invaders, as well as to provoke public tension.
Recall that the previous IPSO was made by the Russians in late May, after the fall of the Russian IL-76 aircraft near Belgorod, where, according to their statements, Ukrainian prisoners of war were. According to the spokesman of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Andriy Yusov, Russia plans to continue to use the topic of the plane fall to discredit Ukraine abroad and create social tension within the country.
