Russia deployed Kalibr submarines in the Black Sea

For the first time, Russia launched three submarines in the Black Sea, equipped with winged caliber missiles, Naval News reports. This new deployment has caused concern for military analysts and experts, as it significantly complicates the situation for Ukraine in the face of military conflict.

To date, Kiev does not have technical means to identify and destroy such submarines in the underwater position, so they will be able to easily strike for purposes in Ukraine, recognizes the publication.

Currently, the Black Sea Fleet of Russia has six submarines of the project 636.3 "Warsaw" (improved KILO by NATO classification), three of which are just in the Black Sea. Kilos are armed with six 533 mm with triggery. They are used to launch heavy torpedoes, 3M54 anti -ship missiles, 3M14 winged missiles, and bottom mines. Each "Warsaw" can take from 4 to 8 (sources give different figures) rockets 3m14 of the Caliber-PL system with a range of flight more than 2000 km.

On July 28, during the Celebration of the Navy of Russia, the Black Sea Fleet representative reported that during the war, excess ships and CFs destroyed more than 200 targets in Ukraine Caliber missiles.
