Russians move to occupied Mariupol for money

Andryushchenko, mayor of Mariupol mayor, declared active migration flows of Russians to this city in eastern Ukraine. According to him, the hostile authorities of Russia encourage their citizens to move to the Ukrainian territory, offering them monetary reward and other advantages, including apartments.

Citizens of the Russian Federation began to actively move to the Ukrainian Donetsk region, part of which is temporarily under the control of the invaders. They are motivated to do it with money.

According to the mayor advisor, the city is actively trying to populate the inhabitants of the European part of Russia. For people to leave their homes more actively and begin to build their lives in foreign territory, they are motivated by cash.

"The Russians are paid for them to come and live in a temporarily occupied Mariupol. That is, they receive money. For these funds, they can buy furniture and make repairs. The invaders are issued orders for apartments that they recognized as homeless. Such a scheme works in Mariupol.

Separately, the mayor Mariupol added that the Russians themselves also support the idea of moving to a captured Ukrainian city. Different migrants, the enemy no longer urge to change their lives and continue it in a new city.

"On the contrary, active agitation is currently in the European part of the Russian territory on the move to Mariupol.

We will remind, on March 29 the adviser to the mayor Mariupol also stated that the Russian Federation can open the railway in the occupation in May. According to him, the enemy does not build an alternative route from scratch to improve logistics. Before the invasion of the Donbas, there was already a road that connected Mariupol, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
