The Security Service of Ukraine announced the suspicion of a blogger-evader who calls for evasion of the draft

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported suspicion of blogger Miroslav Oleshko, who, being abroad, is campaigning men to hide from conscription to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces). According to the SBU press service, Oleshko illegally left the territory of Ukraine during the invasion and fled the country using a fake certificate of the Military Medical Commission.

He is now suspected of two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

  1. Article 114-1, Part 1: "Obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations".
  2. Article 358, Part 4: "Use of deliberately forged document".

The sanctions of these articles include up to 8 years in prison.

The SBU noted that Oleshko systematically publishes videos and posts that discredit his conscription for military service in the Armed Forces and calls on Ukrainians to evade service in the army.

Earlier, as part of the fight against Russian intelligence, the SBU also detained the FSB agent, who collected intelligence on the dislocation and movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border territory of Kharkiv region.
