Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo again made a scandalous statement, this time openly named President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky by the enemy. The reason for such words was the cessation of transit of Russian gas through Ukraine, which, according to Fitzo, harms Slovakia. This was reported by the Slovak edition of Dennik N January 28.
"Our enemy is Zelensky.
Fitzo also criticized Zelensky's proposal to restore gas transit to Europe, but not from Russia, but from Azerbaijan, calling it a "cover maneuver". In his opinion, the President of Ukraine "launches soap bubbles" to avoid making "difficult decisions".
In addition, the Prime Minister again threatened to block the decision to assist Ukraine and stated that on January 30 he would discuss the problem of gas transit with the European Commission.
