At a meeting of the Council of Ukraine, the General Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg announced the NATO Defense Agreement to provide additional support to Ukraine in ensuring the protection against possible Russian attacks on its sky.
According to his statement, it is expected that Member States will soon announce the supply of air defense systems (air defense) and the necessary shells for their use.
“NATO considered its capabilities and identified the systems that can be transmitted to Ukraine. Expect news about the possibilities of air defense for Ukraine, ”Stoltenberg said.
He also announced the promises of NATO partners who do not have their own air defense systems to provide financial support for their purchase and transfer to Ukraine.
In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the urgent needs of Ukraine, including the supply of 155 mm artillery shells, high -precision long -range tools and drones.
