Due to the deterioration of the safety situation in the border territories of Sumy region, the authorities expand the evacuation zone, calling for residents of dangerous settlements to leave their homes. Given the threat from hostilities, people are advised to move to safer places.
Residents of border communities are urged not to delay evacuation. Already on March 18, it was reported an increase in the number of settlements that fall under evacuation. Thus, the Krasnopil settlement council announced the need to depart residents from 19 settlements, which make up almost half of the villages and community villages.
The list includes such villages as Novodmitrivka, Ryasne, Grabovskoye, High, Mezenivka, May, Slavgorod, Porost, Verkhnya Nagna, Novoaleksandrivka, Lisne, Zemlyana, Naumivka, Mikhailovka, Mikhailivsk, Petrushivka, Okip, and Krasida.
According to the head of the municipal security department Vitaliy Deynichenko, the evacuation plan for the city of Sumy is ready, but it will be activated only if the official evacuation is announced. This provides for the creation of 11 collective points, but their exact addresses for security reasons are not disclosed.
Evacuation will be organized for more than 270,000 residents and 30,000 displaced persons, in particular, it is planned to export children under 14 years of age with accompanying, as well as low -mobility groups and everyone who wants to leave dangerous territories.
If the evacuation is announced, people in need of help will be able to contact the collective points where they will be registered, determine the status and issue coupons for transport for further departure.
