Trump has chosen a new place for his inauguration

US President-elect Donald Trump has decided to move the venue of his inauguration. The ceremony, which will take place on the day of his inauguration, will not be held outdoors, but inside the building of the US Congress. This decision was made due to the predicted unseasonably cold temperatures in Washington on Inauguration Day.

In a statement posted on the Truth Social network, Trump explained that the delivery of his inaugural address, along with a prayer and other speeches, will be held in the rotunda of the United States Capitol, as it was in 1985 during Ronald Reagan's presidency, which also saw a very cold weather.

Trump also noted that due to the cold weather and gusty wind, which could threaten both guests and participants of the ceremony, a decision was made to hold the ceremony indoors. He emphasized that such weather creates dangerous conditions for law enforcement and emergency services, which was also the reason for this step.

Trump also noted that the television audience will have a good view of the ceremony from the floor of Congress, which will create an even better scene for those watching the event through the screens.
