Ukrainians are preparing for Black Friday, but this year the war leaves its mark in the consumer market. Admitad Ukraine's partnership network showed that last year sales during Black Friday increased by 57%and the costs increased by 22%.
In the world, clothing, accessories, shoes and watches were the most popular goods during Black Friday last year. However, in Ukraine the situation differs due to military conflict. The sales leader was electronics, in particular, the Poerbank, chargers, and household appliances - these products accounted for 32% of all sales. They were followed by home and garden products that became popular because of the shutdown of lights due to Russian shelling, as well as products from the category of "lamps and lighting".
It is noted that this year's Black Friday trends in Ukraine provide for sales in categories such as personal hygiene and pharmaceutical (+85%), auto part (+69%), home appliances and electronics (+32%), clothing, shoes, accessories (+29%) and electronics (+29%).
Black Friday in Ukraine falls on November 24, and stocks and discounts in some stores can be valid not only on Friday, but also for several days.
