In the temporarily occupied Bakhmut of the Donetsk region, Russian troops set up ammunition depots and field hospitals in the mines. This was announced by the spokesman of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, Nazar Voloshyn, during the telethon.
According to him, Bakhmut has become an important point of temporary deployment for units of the Russian army, in particular the 98th Airborne Division and the 3rd Army Corps of the Russian Federation. The use of mines for military purposes enables the occupiers to hide logistics facilities and hospitals from Ukrainian artillery strikes.
The Ukrainian military is closely monitoring the situation in the region, taking into account the enemy's strategies.
