The staff of the State Bureau of Investigation found a large -scale arsenal of weapons in Kiev, which was illegally stored in one of the garages of the Desniansky district of the capital. This was reported in the DBR press service on Wednesday, April 16.
According to the report, the owners of the illegal storage were an employee of one of the law enforcement agencies and his father. The garage stored various types of weapons, explosives and ammunition, in particular:

More than 35 thousand ammo of different caliber,

130 hand grenades,

6 grenade launchers,

90 shots of the drill,

6 drones,
-
machines, sniper rifles, pistols,

Anti -President Mines,
-
shock-off

Optical surveillance devices.
Investigators are currently establishing the origin of weapons and ammunition, as well as the purpose of their storage. Particular attention is paid to the possible use of these means in criminal activity or their transfer to third parties.
Both men were detained, they were notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives. The sanction of the article provides for up to 7 years in prison.
The DBR noted that the operational work is ongoing. Law enforcement officers do not rule out that the arsenal identified is only part of a broader criminal scheme for arms.
