The Russian offensive in the northeastern Ukraine began as a result of the disconnection of the Starlink satellite Internet, which is used to transmit video flow from reconnaissance drones.
The Ukrainian brigade of the 125th Territorial Defense, located on the border of Kharkiv region with Russia, used reconnaissance drones to monitor the movement of Russian troops.
However, in the morning the brigade lost all video broadcasts due to Russian obstacles. Starlink terminals have stopped working, which led to a loss of communication. The unit commander stated that their observation was impossible, and they were only forced to work with radio or phones if they were still working.
Earlier, US Democratic Party representatives began investigations into SpaceX by the SPACEX RF Internet service Starlink. In particular, radical Democrats demanded that complaints about the illegal use of Starlink terminals in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
However, US Assistant Defense Assistant John Plyamb said the United States successfully counteract the use of Starlink by Russia. However, he warned that Russia will look for other ways to use Starlink and other commercial communication systems.
