"Three times more": Umerov complained to the allies about the shortage of shells

In the letter of the head of the Ministry of Defense Umerov to the EU, it is reported that there is a critical shortage of artillery shells in Ukraine.

The Minister of Defense said that the shortage of weapons in Ukraine is increasing every day and called on the EU allies to do more to fulfill the promise to transfer a million artillery shells.

According to him, Russia uses three times more ammunition on the front line.

Ukraine is unable to launch more than 2,000 shells per day along the 1,500 km long front line. This is less than a third of the ammunition used by Russian troops, Umerov noted.

The defense minister said Ukraine's arms shortage was growing by the day and called on EU allies According to Umerov, Ukraine needs to at least match the firepower of the enemy.

In his letter, Umyerov emphasized that the situation in the ranks of the Armed Forces is increasingly aggravated due to the lack of weapons, and called on Kyiv's allies to "do more" to fulfill their obligations to supply a million artillery pieces of ammunition.
