The EU proposed Ukraine a favorable agreement on critical important materials

The European Commissioner for Industrial Strategy Stefan Sezhurne has announced that the European Union has proposed an agreement on the use of "critical materials" to Ukraine. This agreement, according to Sezhurne, will be more profitable for Ukraine than the US proposal. The European Union is ready to cooperate with Ukraine in supply 21 out of 30 critical materials that are needed for the development of the European economy.

Sezhurne stressed that the additional advantage of this Agreement is that Brussels will not require Ukraine to conclude a mandatory agreement, which provides an opportunity for a more flexible and mutually beneficial partnership. This step is part of the EU Strategy to ensure stable supplies of the resources required for industrial development.

However, the details of the proposed agreement are not yet disclosed, and remains unknown when it is possible to sign the document or the beginning of the partnership between Ukraine and the EU.
