Zelensky plans to gather up to 100 countries at the Peace Summit to determine a strategy for ending the conflict

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expects that the first Inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland will be attended by representatives of 80-100 countries from around the world. The indicated date of the event will be agreed in the near future.

Zelensky announced this during the interview, which was shown on the air of the telethon. "We expect that this summit will become the most powerful, exactly what it should be - a peace summit. This is an extremely important event, at which we expect to meet our partners and, I believe, together we will be able to formulate a strategy for further steps towards ending the war," he said.

Answering a question about China's possible participation in this event, the president noted that there is no final list of participating countries yet. "In the near future, I hope, not even weeks, we will find a common date for holding the first Inaugural Summit in Switzerland. We plan to agree on this date in the format of bilateral communication between me and the President of Switzerland. After that, we will start sending invitations to various state leaders in the appropriate formats," Zelenskyy explained.
