The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has expressed their position on an article published in the British edition of Financial Times, regarding the destruction of Russian energy infrastructure by Russia. According to them, this publication contains elements of misinformation and information and psychological operation aimed at supporting the interests of the aggressor country.
The said material stated that since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia, Ukrainian energy was destroyed by more than half, which has led to a significant decrease in electricity production. However, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, these statements are not confirmed by official sources and may be manipulative.
The department also noted that the article is based on anonymous sources in the Ukrainian government, which casts doubt on the accuracy of the information. In particular, it is stated that references to such sources without specific confirmations are not reliable, and their conclusions may be manipulative.
It is additionally specified that the information provided in the publication on the decision to increase electricity tariffs for the population is twice on May 31, is false and is not true.
