NATO to increase intelligence sharing with Ukraine ahead of July summit

NATO member states will soon start sharing more intelligence with Ukraine. This was reported by NATO Secretary General David Van Well.

"NATO is preparing to expand cooperation with Ukraine in defense technologies and share more reconnaissance data on Russia's capabilities in the field of electronic struggle," the material said.

The NATO Summit in Washington must prepare a new information exchange agreement, including data chains for drones. "One of the goals of this program is to help turn Ukraine into a large technology supplier at the end of the war. NATO also wants to repeat some rapid technological implementation and deployment that has taken place in Ukraine since the war," Bloomberg notes.

Van Well added that the Russian invasion has forced NATO to allocate more resources to cyber defense and tracking Russian military technologies.

Increasing the assistance of NATO allies for Ukraine and supporting its promotion to the Alliance will be among the main topics of NATO summit in Washington. In this context, Finland believes that Ukraine has a legitimate place among the Allies, and the process of its entry into NATO is irreversible.
