President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has declared plans to introduce a long moratorium on business checks. The relevant assignment has already been given to the government. The Head of State announced this on Friday, April 27, during the event of the Forum of Power and Business: from dialogue to partnership " held in Kiev.
“I have already instructed to prepare a decision on a long moratorium on business checks. So, to protect your business from any pressure of unscrupulous people in different positions, ”Zelensky said.
According to him, in the conditions of war, Ukrainian business continues to work, provide jobs and fill the budget. And instead of obstacles, entrepreneurs must receive support.
“Entrepreneurship is not an enemy, as some sometimes think, it is our ally. And it is the business, free from the excessive intervention of the state, the driving of the economy, ”the President emphasized.
Volodymyr Zelensky focused on the need to create transparent rules for all participants in the economy. In particular, he noted that the country should move to rational regulation and a clear definition of state intervention in the business environment.
“Ukraine can be much stronger in economic terms. But this requires a clear framework: minimal and rational regulation, as well as strong state lobbying of Ukrainian business in the world, ”the head of state said.
Zelensky also recalled that the key task is to build trust between the state and business. In this context, he announced the expansion of the interaction format.
Another step to improve communication between the authorities and entrepreneurs will be the expansion of the State - Business . This body should become a platform for regular dialogue and resolving topical issues of entrepreneurial activity.
“We continue the work of the State - Business Council. It will be expanded so that more entrepreneurs' votes are heard. It is not only a formality - it is part of changes in relations between the state and business, ”Zelensky emphasized.
