In the Sumy direction, Russian troops began to actively use a new V2U shock drone, equipped with an artificial intelligence system for autonomous search and choice of goals. About it reports the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The drone computing platform is based on the Chinese LEOTOP A203 mini -speed with high -speed NVidia Jetson Orin architecture. The peculiarity of V2U is only one GPS module, which testifies to the abandonment of satellite navigation through the active work of Ukrainian radio electronic fighting systems (HRV). Instead, the drone uses computer vision technology: compares the image from the camera with pre -loaded photos. You can control the drone in FPV mode (first person pilot) through LTE. It has a Microdrive Tandem-4GS-OM-11 Microdrive modem-router, which works with a SIM card of the Ukrainian mobile operator. Despite Russian marking, this modem contains mainly Chinese components.
Military intelligence has found that the V2U drone is carried out by four companies - two in Russia and two in China. The drone includes: engine, GPS module, servos, solid-state drive, rangefinder, power regulator, power elements, Japanese photosensitive Sony sensor, electromagnetic relay of Irish TE Connectivity, American computing module NVIDIA ORIN.
In response, a new Buntar-3 military drone was developed in Ukraine, which is characterized by increased resistance to the impact of radio electronic struggle.
