Ukraine under shelling, damaged residential buildings and children's hospital "Okhmatdyt"

From today's massive Russian rocket attack, Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Slovyansk, Kramatorsk were injured. More than 40 missiles of different types were released. Damaged residential buildings, infrastructure and children's hospital. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a telegram.

“Russian terrorists again attacked Ukraine missiles. Different cities: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk. More than 40 missiles of different types. Damaged residential buildings, infrastructure and children's hospital, ”Zelensky said.

He noted that all services were involved to save as many people as possible.

This morning, July 8, Russian invaders fired at Kyiv, which led to serious consequences for the city. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, residents heard several strong explosions, which led to destruction and significant material damage.

In different parts of the city - Solomenskyi, Dniprovsky, Darnytsky, Desnyanskiy, Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi - the fall of debris was recorded, which led to damage to residential and office buildings. In particular:

  • In the Solomenskiy district, an office building was damaged.
  • In the Holosiivskyi district, wreckage fell near an apartment building.
  • In the Dnieper district, debris is burning in residential buildings.
  • A private home is damaged in Darnytskyi district.
  • In the Desnyanskiy district there was an ignition of the house.
  • In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a children's hospital Ohmadit was injured, there is destruction.

All operational services work on the event to eliminate the consequences and assist the victims.

In his official Telegram-channel, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack and urged the international community to act decisively to stop Russian aggression.

"And the whole world must use all its determination to finally stop Russian blows. Murder is what Putin carries. Only together we can bring true peace and security," Zelensky said.
