Did Putin really find himself in the drone attack zone?

On May 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a working trip to the Kursk region, but this visit, according to the Russian military, coincided with a large -scale attack of unknown drones. The Russian side claims that during the stay of the Kremlin head in the region, air defense was forced to destroy several dozen drones.

Major-General Yuri Dashkin, a Division Division Commander, said the Drone attack began at the moment when the president was in Kursk region.

According to Russian media reports, Putin had a meeting with the governor of Kursk region Alexander Hinstein and visited the construction of Kursk NPP-2 in Kurchatov, located only 60 km from the Ukrainian border. It is interesting that the very fact of the visit was published only the next day - May 21. At the time of the material, the Ukrainian military officially did not comment on events in the Kursk region and did not confirm information about drones that could be aimed at Putin's helicopter or facilities near it.

This is not the first time that the attacks of drones occur shortly after the visit of the President of the Russian Federation to strategic objects. So, on May 20, Putin visited the defense enterprise "Alloy" in Tula. A few days after the visit, according to the media, the plant was attacked by a drone that caused a fire in the production shop and the substation.
