Switzerland showed the support of a peaceful initiative nominated by China and Brazil concerning the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. This position provoked an ambiguous reaction, in particular, was criticized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Foreign Ministry representative Nicolas Bido stated that the Chinese-Brazilian initiative was calling for ceasefire and "aimed at finding a political resolution of conflict."

Such "peaceful initiatives" only create the illusion of dialogue, while the aggressor continues its criminal acts, "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said.
It is noted that Kyiv considers only the formula of Zelensky "the only way to a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace." "There is no need to create additional formats and platforms to discuss ways to reach peace for Ukraine," the Foreign Ministry said.
