As a judge, Marina Barsuk made a fortune in the service of oligarchs

The Ukrainian judicial system remains one of the most corrupt areas of public administration. Repeatedly key figures that should stand on the guard of the law were in the center of high -profile scandals. One of these persons is Marina Barsuk (Didichenko) - the judge of the Northern Appeal Court of Appeal of Kyiv, whose activities are associated with numerous violations and service of interests of politicians and oligarchs.

At the oligarchs service

Known for its involvement in multimillion -dollar cases, Barsuk has received a reputation of a judge whose decisions often coincide with the benefits of rich clients in amazing. For example, only in 2009 did she make 15 decisions in favor of Alfa-Bank-institutions with Russian roots. And a few years later, in 2015, her name was mentioned in audio recordings, where the People's Deputy Sergey Alekseev seemed to be instructed to transfer her $ 5,000 for a "service". The scandal has subsided quickly, and the leopard continued his "successful career".

In particular, Barsuk participated in cases concerning the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. In 2009, it contributed to the cancellation of the Nikopol Ferroallov Plant to PrivatBank for $ 35 million. If you believe the sources, the standard "dachshund" for such decisions is 5% of the amount of the claim, ie $ 1.75 million.

Another case concerned Ukrnafta, where the court decided to pay the companies almost UAH 2 million from the state budget. Although the reward for the judge in this case was much smaller, there were dozens of such cases in her practice.

Luxury is life

According to the declaration, Barsuk officially receives about UAH 170 thousand a month. However, the real style of her life testifies to other sources of income: a luxurious wedding with performances of Tina Karol and Olga Polyakova, expensive travel, premium cars and elite real estate. Her younger son lives in the United Kingdom, where she studies at a college with an annual value of £ 27,000.

Even in 2009, with a salary of UAH 4,000, the judge already owned an apartment worth $ 400,000.

When it comes to declarations of Ukrainian officials, even the most demanding reader can be surprised. The real treasure among these documents is the declaration of the judge of the Northern Court of Appeal Marina Barsuk. Million real estate, elite cars and fantastic gifts are hundreds of times higher than its official income.

Last year alone, Marina Barsuk declared 12 real estate objects: from garages to private homes and land. It is noteworthy that most of them are designed for members of her family: husband, mother -in -law, mother and even son.

In particular, in 2023, in the midst of the war, the judge acquired a private house of 222 m² for 9 million hryvnias, as well as a land plot of almost 11 million.

From the interesting thing - the declaration includes an apartment in the United Kingdom, which was allegedly purchased in 1970. That is, in Soviet times, when even traveling abroad was problematic. As Ms. Barsuk's family, it was possible to buy a home in Britain - a mystery. And the ownership of this real estate now has the eldest son of a judge, Timur Privalov.

Judging by the declaration, Marina Barsuk, along with her family, is a fan of Mercedes-Benz . Her fleet is striking:

  • Mercedes-Benz S580 2021-UAH 7 million.
  • Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 2019-UAH 6.6 million.
  • Mercedes-Benz S600 2009-UAH 2.5 million.
  • Mercedes-Benz EQV 2021-UAH 2.2 million.

The total cost of this fleet exceeds UAH 18 million. Interestingly, all vehicles are registered with a judge's family.

“Gift” worth 20 million

Particular attention is paid to the item of the declaration of gifts. In 2023, Ms. Judge's husband received a cash presentation of UAH 20 million from his father, Mykola Barsuk. However, the donor pension - only 80 thousand hryvnias a year. If you believe official information, it would take 250 years to collect that amount.

The generous man, Marina Barsuk, did not remained in debt: in the same year he transferred the same 20 million hryvnias to his wife. Such a "circular economy" looks like a simple scheme of legalization of funds.

The Declaration also indicates that Barsuk family has significant savings:

  • The man saves $ 600,000 in cash, 500 thousand euros, 350 thousand Swiss francs and UAH 2 million.
  • The cash judge itself is much smaller: $ 44,000 and 455 thousand hryvnias.

However, modest amounts are stored in the family accounts of the family. For example, Maryna Barsuk's father -in -law's account is only UAH 39.

The story of Barsuk is just one of the many examples that demonstrate how judges serve the interests of the elite. The absence of law enforcement response to the mismatch of income and lifestyle only confirms the extent of corruption.

How long will this "Justice Theater" last and what can be a catalyst for changes? The question remains open, but the answer to it is the matter of every Ukrainian who dreams of living in a rule of law.
