Today, after several days of intense fighting and capture, the Israel Defense Forces launched a spectacular strike against Hamas, destroying their parliament building in the heart of Gaza City. The operation was successfully carried out by the 7th Armored Brigade and the Golani Infantry Brigade.
The determination of the Israeli military was highlighted during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the IDF training base "Zikim" near Gaza. During a meeting with military personnel, he emphasized that no corner of the Gaza Strip will remain untouched by Israeli forces.
"There is no place in Gaza that we cannot reach. There is no hiding place, no cover, no refuge for the killers of Hamas. We will get there and destroy Hamas and bring home our hostages - these are our two sacred missions," the Prime Minister said.
The destruction of the parliament building came after Israeli forces gained access to the interior and took photographs confirming the presence of Hamas weapons and military equipment.
