The South Korean government initiated the transfer of special demining equipment to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. This became possible thanks to the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea.
According to RBC-Ukraine, the embassy's report states that "the government of the Republic of Korea handed over 10 demining machines to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as humanitarian aid."
The equipment manufactured by the Croatian company "DOK-ING" has already arrived at its destination and will be distributed among units of the State Emergency Service participating in humanitarian demining of the de-occupied territory of Ukraine.
Ukraine expressed gratitude to the South Korean government for the provided equipment and expressed hope for further support.
We will remind you that due to the Russian invasion and active hostilities, Ukraine has become one of the most mined countries in the world. Previously, Switzerland and Norway have also provided aid to Ukraine for demining, confirming their support for efforts to restore security in the country.
