Russia is actively developing its technological military developments, including unmanned aerial vehicles, and uses them to perform sabotage and hybrid operations against countries that are part of the North Atlantic Alliance. According to analysts of the American Institute of War, Russia first tests its technological innovations at the front in Ukraine, and then applies them on a scale that goes beyond the conflict.
Analysts point out that these developments, including drones and technologies, which are designed to increase the stability of apparatus to electronic warfare. Due to the fact that Russia is experiencing its innovations in the war against Ukraine, the Kremlin gained experience that uses sabotage and hybrid surgery against NATO States to implement. These conclusions were the result of the analysis of numerous messages from NATO member states that record suspicious activities by Russia. According to analysts, Russia continues to use its technologies for hybrid attacks and preparation of various sabotage.
Evidence of this activity can be found in the history of repeated incidents in European countries, where espionage, sabotage, cyberattacks and other sabotage probably performed by Russia were noted. Thus, the head of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Russia can be involved in almost 100 suspicious incidents in Europe, including espionage and sabotage. A total of about 500 such cases were recorded, and 100 of them were found in the Kremlin. One of the most resonant incidents occurred in the Baltic Sea when mobile communications and tracking data were cut. According to investigators engaged in this case, the Chinese ship Yi Peng 3, which came out of the port of Russia, became involved in this sabotage. During this incident, mobile cables were cut off, which led to tracking shipments.
These actions, according to experts, are part of Russia's tactics aimed at concealing the movement of Russian ships and obstruction of operations of other countries.
