Ukrzaliznytsia raised prices for international flights

From February 1, 2025, Ukrzaliznytsia revises the discounts on international trains to Poland and Hungary, which will lead to raising tickets. This was reported by the company press service.

Ukrzaliznytsia explains the decision to compensate for the losses that have reached UAH 18 billion in 2024. The cost of materials and energy resources has increased significantly, so the company is forced to reduce discounts that have previously been in place to promote international communications.

  • Trains to Poland:
    • The cost of tickets in the 1st class of Intercity+ and JI will increase by 20-27%.
    • In sputum wagons, the rise in price will be 9-27%.
    • For example, a ticket to the Kyiv - Warsaw route will rise by 37%.
  • Trains to Hungary:
    • In JI cars prices will increase by 17%.
    • In the compartment - by 21%.
    • The ticket to the direction of Kyiv - Budapest will become more expensive according to these changes.

At the same time, discounts on tickets to Austria and Moldova will remain unchanged.

By the end of January 2025, inclusive passengers may issue tickets for February flights at current prices through the official site or application of Ukrzaliznytsia.
